MTA Chief talks about proposed cuts

The home page of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority includes a short video of MTA Chief Executive Jay Walder talking about the transit giant’s financial woes. (The agency is $750 million in the hole.)

He doesn’t give many specifics, but he shows where you can find a lot of info on the MTA Web site. And he gives the talk about how difficult it is to make the cuts.

The first hearing on the cuts its at 6 p.m. tonight in the White Plains Performing Arts Center on the third floor of the City Center at the corner of Mamaroneck Avenue and Main Street in White Plains.
