Rockland historical society holds lecture on history of TZ Bridge

As part of an exhibition at the Historical Society of Rockland County, Roger Panetta, curator of the Hudson River collection at Fordham University, will discuss how the Tappan Zee Bridge transformed Rockland in “The Tappan Zee Bridge: Forging the Rockland Suburb.” The presentation will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. tomorrow at the museum, 20 Zukor Road, New City. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for museum members and $3 for children 11 and younger. For more information, call the Historical Society at 845-634-9629.
