Here’s the latest on Metro-North Railroad’s service for west of the Hudson:
For people leaving the office early today, there will be a 2:51 p.m. “getaway” departure from Hoboken to Spring Valley on NJ Transit’s Pascack Valley line. To accommodate this train, the 5:55 p.m. departure from Hoboken to Spring Valley will not operate.
On the Port Jervis Line, there is an early getaway train departing Hoboken at 2:43 p.m., making stops from Suffern to Port Jervis. To accommodate this train, the 6:08 train from Hoboken will not operate.
Tomorrow, Thanksgiving Day, a Sunday schedule will be in effect on the Port Jervis and Pascack Valley lines.
For those heading to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, an extra inbound train will operate on the Port Jervis Line, departing Port Jervis at 6:21 a.m., running express after Suffern, and arriving in Hoboken at 8:30 a.m. And for those home-going parade-goers, an extra train will depart Hoboken at 12:15 p.m., run express to Suffern, and arrive at Port Jervis at 2:22 p.m.
On Friday, the same pre-holiday getaway schedule for November 26 will be in effect for both the Pascack Valley and Port Jervis lines.
