Thruway lanes in Spring Valley to close tonight

October
15

A northbound stretch of Thruway near the Spring Valley tolls will be shut down tonight.

Antenna replacement work at the highway-speed toll barrier, located at milepost 24.31, will close northbound lanes beginning at 9:30 p.m. until 6 a.m. tomorrow, the state Thruway Authority said.

A double-lane closure will begin at 9:30 p.m.; all three northbound lanes will be closed at 11:00 p.m.

During the closures, all traffic will be diverted through the Spring Valley Toll Plaza. Passengers cars will not be charged toll.

In case of bad weather, the work will be performed tomorrow night during the same time frame.
