Changes coming for some Rockland bus riders

Bus riders in Rockland should be aware of two schedule changes next week.

On Sunday, , Transport of Rockland (TOR) and Coach USAâ€™s Rockland Coaches buses in Haverstraw village will detour around the Haverstraw International Street Fair and the Ferry-Go-Round. Riders should meet their buses at the corner of New Main Street and Hudson Avenue or on Gurnee Avenue. Bus service will return to normal when the street fair is over, the county’s Department of Public Transportation said.

And starting Monday, the bus stop for the Tappan ZEExpress and Coach USA buses in Nyack will move two blocks south, from the corner of South Broadway and Depew Avenue to the corner of South Broadway and Cedar Hill Avenue. As a result, the buses will avoid traveling on Depew Avenue, which hosts a day care center and senior citizen center.
