Tappan Zee Bridge deck replacement schedule

If you’re planning on crossing the TZ at night this week, here’s what you need to know:

• Monday: Work begins at 8 p.m. resulting in the closure of two right Rockland-bound lanes, with an additional right Rockland-bound lane closing at 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. Tuesday from milepost 13 to the west abutment on the bridge. Two left lanes from Exit 10 in Nyack to the west abutment will also be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. These closures are for installation of deck panels.

• Tuesday: Work begins at 8 p.m. resulting in the closure of two right Rockland-bound lanes, with an additional right Rockland-bound lane closing at 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. Wednesday from milepost 13 to the west abutment on the bridge. Two left lanes from Exit 10 in Nyack to the west abutment will also be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. These closures are for installation of deck panels.

• Wednesday: Work begins at 8 p.m. resulting in the closure of two right Rockland-bound lanes, with an additional right Rockland-bound lane closing at 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. Thursday from milepost 13 to the west abutment on the bridge. Two left lanes from Exit 10 in Nyack to the west abutment will also be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. These closures are for installation of deck panels.

• Thursday: Work begins at 10 p.m. resulting in the closure of three right Rockland-bound lanes until 6 a.m. Friday from milepost 13 to the west abutment on the bridge. Two left lanes from Exit 10 in Nyack to the west abutment will also be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. These closures are for installation of deck panels.

• Friday: Work will begin at 10 p.m. resulting in the closure of two right Rockland-bound lanes, with an additional Rockland-bound lane closing at midnight, until 6 a.m. Saturday from milepost 13 to the west abutment on the bridge. Two left lanes from Exit 10 in Nyack to the west abutment will also be closed from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. These closures are for installation of deck panels.

All lane closures are subject to change due to traffic, weather or emergency situations. The public is also notified on Tappan Zee Bridge repairs and lane closures via dynamic message signs and Highway Advisory Radio, 530 AM.
