All lanes have been reopened on the Scotland Hill Road bridge over the Garden State Parkway in Chestnuut Ridge.
The bridge was temporarily closed due to construction work by the New York State Thruway Authority.
Construction work will continue underneath the bridge, including non-structural bearing work and patching and sealing of concrete.
The Thruway Authority said it does not expect significant delays for drivers while the remaining work continues on the $2.1 million project.
Work is expected to be completed by November.
